ADCC round up

The 2009 ADCC World No Gi Submission Grappling Championships were held on September 26 and 27 in Barcelona, Spain. Australia sent a team of 5 competitors who qualified for the World Championships by winning the Australasian trials in March of this year. The  team members included Anthony Perosh (Under 99kg) who is a former team mate and Instructor to Coach Stephen.

Three out of the 5 members of the Australian team came from Will-Machado Australia including David Marinakis from Dominance Mixed Martial Arts and Anthony Perosh and Denis Roberts from Sinosic Perosh Martial Arts.

All  members of the Australian team had tough opening matches all facing former and defending world champions!   In the under 99kg division Anthony Perosh faced multiple world champion Marcio "Pe De Pano" Cruz. Anthony had Pe De Pano's back in the match but couldn't capitalise and lost 3 points to 0 after having his guard passed in the last 30 seconds.

A big congratulations to the entire Australian team.
