Make sure to register early to save a spot.

Absolute division is limited to 32 competitors only, you can enter in one division and Absolute only.

No competitors can be accepted without payment. If you enter both events please make your payment for both days to insure entry at the competition venue or via direct deposit. If you enter only one event payment is required for the one event only.

Please check your entry, weight division and belt. A limited number of places are available in the Absolute division 3 per team, you can register at the venue.

After your payment please inform us by sending an email or a copy of the deposit slip for validation purposes.

Please bring your deposit slip copy for validation purposes at the competition venue.

We greatly appreciate your efforts to ensure that payment is received in a timely matter.

Draws will be posted on the Boards at the venue. Start time 9am Saturday, for Gi competitors - No Gi competitors please be at the venue by 2pm.

SPECIAL COMPETITION RULES

• Competitors must wait for the result before leaving the mat
• Absolute entries can register on the day, 4 entries per team
• No weight or draw changes can be made on the day
• Referees decisions will be respected at all times
• Only competitors and the referee in a current match are allowed on the mat
• Coachs are allowed on a designated seat in the final matchs to coach thier players

DIVISIONS and FIGHT TIME

White Belts(5 minutes)
Absolute Divisions (5 minutes)

Adults and Juniors

The divisions are open to all White Belts up to 4 stripes or 24 months training in No Gi. Gold Medalists from the previous Novice Championships, Pan Asians,National or Philippine Open are not elegible to compete.

PHILIPPINE BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU NOVICE CHAMPIONSHIPS

WEIGH IN:

Before his/her first fight, the athlete will check his/her weight with the Gi. There is only one opportunity to check the weight. If the competitor does not make his/her weight, they will be immediately disqualified. Please make sure that you are in the correct weight division. You can not change divisions, if you do not make your designated division. No changes will be accepted on the tournament day, no refund is given.

All athletes must check weight with the gi on.

KIMONO COLOURS:

Gi's can be any color but must be all the same color (Pants and Top) no t-shirts or rash guards, are to be worn under the Gi. Suitable underwear is to be worn.

All athletes should fight and weigh-in with traditional weave fabric gi only (single, double or golden weave). All Blue, all White, all Black, Pink for Ladies, No other kind of gi is allowed.
