Every Saturday from 8.30 am to 9.30am we will be holding a Yoga class. This class will combine some specific poses from Hatha Yoga and certain exercises from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It is well known that doing Yoga has many great positive effects for your health and wellbeing . The benificial effects of both breathing and static stretching improve both mind and body. By combining some techniques and exercises from Martial arts we endevour to enhance the effect of the Hatha poses by adding some dynamic and co-ordinated exercises unique to martial artists during the Yoga workout.
This class still reflects the principles and gentle breathing techniques that yoga is renowned for, with the added quality of giving your body that little bit extra in all round exercise.
