The just concluded Pan Asians Gi and No Gi was a very friendly comp with a good turnout of overseas and local teams , including many teams from the provincial and the National Capitol region.
Some of the lighter divisions had over 26 players with the White belt absolute division coming in with over 30 competitors.

All in all we had 27 teams represented with players coming from Shanghai, Taiwan , Guam, Indonesia, Japan, US, Sweden, Singapore, Thailand, Borneo,Hong Kong and the UK

We would like to thank all the local and international  teams who also participated to make this truely an International event.

Congratulations to all players and coachs.

Two new teams headed by Brazilian Black Belts Silivio Braga the head Instructor of Silvio Braga in Hong Kong and Marco Escobar based in Malaysia the Head Instructor of Escobar BJJ brought a few of their new players  to the Pan Asians. They are a very welcome addition to the SEA BJJ family and will do much to  advance the sport in the region. In addition we meet up with  Jason Bukich BJJ Black Belt and Instructor from Taiwan BJJ and Mokoto Ogasawara BJJ Brown belt  also an Instructor in Taiwan who brought a strong team from Taiwan who took 3 rd ( Pan Asian Gi ) and 2nd place  ( Pan Asian No Gi )in the overall Team placings. It was great to have these high level competitors and coach’s at the comp and we would particularly like to thank Mokoto who assisted as a reff in addition to competiting in the No Gi event.
