Saturday August 29 was a special day for the youngest members of KMA Fitness and Martial Arts, who undertook the belt grading test. All the 6 students, Danner, Drexel, Drazen, Jet, Tommy and Nicholas qualified for their first grades as Yellow belts in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Jason, Zach, Martin, Chance CJ, Justin and Antonio through their diligent training, ability to comprehend and execute the required techniques all progressed to the next stripe level. The grading was also unique with the awarding of the very first orange belt (second children’s belt level) to Joaquin who achieved the honor. All the adults students who where present Coach Stephen Archie, Dennis and Charles would like to congratulate the students on their achievement.

A special syllabus devised by Coach Stephen in conjunction with 2nd degree Black Belt Instructor Anthony Persosh from SPMA Australia and Master Fabricio (6 degree Black Belt) in Brazil is used during the grading to test the students. This ensures that a standardized system is in place for testing and teaching to our students.
“Our goal is to ensure uniformity of skills and knowledge between the schools in the Philippines, Australia and Brazil”. We wish to maintain or even improve on the standards between our students here and abroad, and provide students with a complete lesson plan. Our classes cover techniques from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai and Judo.
