Hi Allen welcome to BJJPhilippines.com.

Recently your Team took part in the Pan Asians and as a small and new team, you made a very good impression. Can you tell us how you started in BJJ, who was your instructor and your club affiliation?

First off, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the organising committee in the Philippines and all the participants for taking the time to entertain our humble lot during the comp. It was our first comp entry as a gym and we’re still green to the context. We look forward to partaking in future events in the South East Asia BJJ community. We felt very welcomed and it was a pleasure to be a part of such an esteemed event.

http://bjjphilippines.com/news_images/dav.jpgCongratulations to Kamphuis Fabricio Davao for successfully organizing a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Submission Grappling tournament in Davao. The event was made possible by Councilor Paulo Duterte and SM City Davao.

The event was officiated and organized by students and instructors of Team Fabricio Davao and was held at the activity center of SM City Davao. Participants from different martial arts club thorugh out the southern region competed in this event that was witnessed by hundreds of spectators.

This suggests an increased level of awareness of Pinoys regarding Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as there were also several MMA events held in the same city. Congrats to the organizers for a job well done.
